Privacy policy
Written to be read once: analytics in aggregate, no accounts, and nothing sold to anyone.

This page explains what Bloodborne Guide collects, why, and how to opt out. It is written to be read once, not to be impressive.
What is collected
Aggregate analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views: which pages are read, roughly where in the world from, and what kind of device was used. This is aggregate reporting — it is not used to identify you, and there are no accounts, no sign-in and no profiles on this site.
Standard server logs. The site is served through Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes the request information needed to serve a page: IP address, user agent, and the URL requested. Cloudflare's own privacy terms cover what it retains and for how long.
Nothing else. There is no newsletter, no comment system, no contact form on this site, and no first-party cookie used to track you across pages.
What is not collected
- No names, email addresses or accounts. The only way to send anything to this site is by email,
and only if you choose to write first.
- No advertising identifiers and no third-party advertising scripts. The site carries no ad
network tags.
- No data sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing purposes.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish sessions. If you would prefer not to be counted, use your browser's tracking protection, a content blocker, or a private window — the site works identically either way. There is nothing behind a cookie on this site that you would otherwise get: no saved preferences, no reading history, no features.
Email you send us
If you write to the address on the contact page, your message and address are kept only as long as it takes to answer and fix whatever it was about. Corrections often mean quoting a log line or a version string on a page; personal details in a message are not published, and are not added to any list.
Children
This site is written for adults playing a game rated for mature audiences. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes
If what is collected ever changes — a new analytics tool, a mailing list, anything with a personal dimension — this page is updated at the same time, with the date of the change.
